COVID-19 Safety Guidelines

Courtside 360 seeks to provide a safe and fun environment for all who participate in our events, academy, and on our teams. In regard to Covid-19, Courtside is committed to keeping athletes, parents, and staff safe during this time by abiding by the following health and safety procedures:

1.  Cleared to Participate – All parents and/or guardians are attesting by allowing their child to participate that their child has received a daily screening by them for signs/symptoms of illness.

2.  Facility Usage – Some facilities where we host events, train, and our teams practice and play, are bound to a reduced usage capacity enforced by city officials. At facilities where we conduct team practices and events, Parents/Guardians may not be allowed in the gym to limit the size of groups in the facility if they are operating at a reduced capacity. In this situation, the gym will be closed to anyone not participating in training/practice. Parents may wait in the parking lot or return to pick up their child. Tournaments and Leagues have their own respective Covid policies which may include limiting the number of spectators at games. We will let you know of any restrictions and what the protocols may be for any Courtside program you participate in.

3.  Personal Protective Equipment - Athletes and coaches will not be required to wear a face covering while participating in Courtside programming unless the third party (facility, league or tournament) requires them to do so.

4.  Temperature Checks - Some facilities require that staff and athletes are screened upon arrival for signs/symptoms of illness prior to use of the facility and participation in practice or events.  If athletes exhibit signs of illness then they will be sent home. If your athlete has had a fever/couch, please do not risk sending them to the program.

5.  Facility Sanitization - Hand sanitizers and hand washing stations will be readily available throughout the facilities we use. Trained team members from each facility will be sanitizing the area and equipment throughout operations.

6.  Bring Your Own Basketball - Athletes will be asked to bring their your own basketball.

7.  Water Bottles – All athletes will be asked to provide their own water bottles for hydration purposes as shared water stations will not be available.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and commitment to partner with us to ensure everyone’s safety!
