Courtside 360 houses Courtside AcademyCourtside Events, and Courtside United Volleyball Club. We believe in setting high standards for all our programs, and our club team division - Courtside United - is no exception. We desire to surround our club with high-character players, coaches, and families who reflect values such as honesty, integrity, service, and leadership. #CourtsideCommunity is real - and it’s here to welcome you.

Philosophy

Like many clubs, Courtside United competes in leagues and tournaments throughout the year, although our philosophy and approach is often found to be different from most organizations. We believe in quality over quantity in relation to the number of tournaments teams participate in, and are more concerned about the development of each player on the roster than national team ranking. Courtside United club members receive consistent training opportunities year-round, and priority access and registration discounts to all Courtside 360 clinics/camps and private training programs. Courtside United provides three divisional team programs - Developmental, Competitive, Elite. Through year-round programs, Courtside offers athletes of all skill level development opportunities at the Rec level through League Play in addition to our Competitive and Elite Tournament Team Divisions. For our High School Elite Division, platform, exposure, and recruitment is key. Regardless of team division – Player Development is our focus!

Player Development Program

Courtside’s programming focuses on Individual Player and Team Development through Private Training, Sports Performance Sessions, Strength & Agility, Skills Clinics, Showcase Camps, Team Workshops, League Play, Tournament Competition – all led by certified coaches and athletes with college/pro playing experience. Courtside’s diverse training staff offers a unique approach to athletic development and understand the dedication, discipline and mindset it takes to advance in your craft. Our staff currently train athletes in volleyball, basketball, soccer, football, and track & field.

Courtside Culture

As the name Courtside United suggests, we consider our teams to be a family unified with a purpose bigger than volleyball. This can be uncommon within club sports. We train, compete, and grow as athletes and individuals. Courtside United is about complete development - making each person better - so that their influence makes others better. Our culture is character first, train and play second, but honor and impact always.

Our difference:

There’s an unfortunate negative perception of some amateur athletic programs. This may be due to an unfavorable coaching environment and a win-at-all-cost attitude, an unbalanced system that lacks focus on skill development where competing in overly scheduled seasons supersede training, or social pressure and financial strain on families. Our club platform sways from this structure and offers a unique alternative to the traditional format. While the spirit of the club is competitive and we play with intent to win, that is not our primary focus.

Chasing development, not hardware.

Instead of being focused on rankings, and consumed with out of state travel and the busyness of playing in multiple tournaments each month within an environment that leaves little time for player development, Courtside’s strategy is to train regularly, and play a modest regular season schedule in the DFW area. Heavier schedules and travel are reserved only for eligible High School Elite teams. We feel this strategic approach allows for more training time spent on developing skillset and increasing IQ for every player on the roster and better prepares athletes for high-level competition.

We strive to raise the bar on what a quality, enjoyable youth sports experience can be for the players, coaches, and families part of our club, as well as the facility operators and tournament directors we come in contact with.

I’ve been around club volleyball for years, but felt out of place lately, or like it was missing something. Club has become increasingly focused on status, and the demand of its schedule is overwhelming. The system needs a change. As I’ve gotten to know Courtside, I’ve felt drawn to its philosophy and focus on both skill and personal development. I’ve watched what they provide as an alternative to AAU basketball. Courtside’s model is something I would love to offer to club volleyball.

I feel called to be in a different space where I can focus on training, mentor coaches, and be more relationally invested in my girls. My faith has shaped and changed how I now approach teaching the game. This is an opportunity for me to expand on my passion, be more than a coach, and to explore how I might offer something different to the club world.

Courtside’s desire is to provide a competitive program focused on player development without the strain, stress and pressure typically found in Club. It’s been my vision since 2020 for Courtside 360 to encompass more court sports than just basketball. Volleyball was the obvious next ball to roll out, but I knew it had to be at the right time and with the right team of people. Sometimes God has a way of surprising you, or just reminding you he’s simply answering your prayer in his time. Meeting Coach Jasmine wasn’t by mistake. Jasmine’s faith and priorities in family and community mirror mine. She shares my passion for developing the complete person. And my desire for a positive culture shift in youth sports.

Jasmine’s experience on the court as a college player, high school and club coach, and reputation as a person is second to none. I can’t think of a better person to have on board helping carry the Courtside platform into volleyball. I am thrilled to have Coach Jasmine leading player development and mentoring our coaches. It’s an honor to team up with someone who has had such a huge impact in the volleyball community. It’s going to be exciting to see her influence Courtside.

2024-2025 Program Investment

Courtside is a competitive platform focusing on player development which offers a unique alternative to the traditional Club format. While we take training seriously and compete with intent to win, that is not our primary focus. Club expenses and overhead must be met, but our desire is to sway from the schedule intensity, financial strain, and social pressure typically found in Club.

Our son plays basketball for Courtside United. The coaching and all the training they do has really helped him. When I heard they were planning to have volleyball teams too, I was thrilled for my daughter. This will be a game-changer in club volleyball. - Fort Worth Parent
